FOR SALE: "PANTHER" is a beautiful black with
white markings UKCI
registered male Whippet
puppy.... DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED
TO
HOLD.....Born to a dark fawn brindle solid mom
and a black with white
markings dad. They are
beautiful! Litter was 2 girls and 7 boys.
(BOTH
FEMALES ARE SOLD). Boys are in varying
patterns of black and white parti,
black with
white markings, with one blue and white
parti....WE ARE NOT A
KENNEL!!!!!! Our Whippets
are our family members first and we have
1-4
litters a year. This is our last for this year
and won't have any more
until sometime later next
Spring at the earliest. Most of our proceeds
from
our Whippet sales are put towards our rescue
efforts as animal rescue
is our main focus and
what we are licensed to do. Our Whippets are
raised
as companions and pets ONLY, and we DO NOT
sell to breeders, kennels,
brokers, or pet stores,
nor are our dogs sold for breeding except for on
a
very limited basis, which is rare. PLEASE be
honest upfront if that is your
intention. Although
we will always have one or two in a litter that
could
be considered "show quality," we do not
consider them any differently than
the others and
sex doesn't matter for price either. The price is
the same
for any of our Whippets and they are
outstanding quality dogs. Our
Whippets are VERY
social and are all in the house....after all, they
are
our pets.....every one will readily greet
anyone at the door...Our puppies
are also raised
in the house and are handled and played with daily
from day
one. Dewclaws are removed at 3 days. Will
be started on crate-training at 6
weeks of age
(start of weaning) and continued until they leave.
We keep
ours' until they are at least 10 weeks of
age, so this has to be
understood....NO MORE
EXCEPTIONS!!! Our Whippets will stay with us
until
they are AT LEAST 10 WEEKS OLD!!! They are
better able to handle the
stresses of a new
environment and also will have at least 2 boosters
in
them as well as boostered for kennel cough.
PANTHER will be "officially"
ready to leave as of
December 28th. Being that it is right around
the
holiday, schedules will have to be a little
more flexible, so that has to
be understood. They
will be used to cats, kids, birds, and other dogs
large
and small and will be well-socialized to a
variety of stimuli. We DO NOT
HAVE SHY OR TIMID
Whippets and no aggression either! Our Whippets
really
favor the European heritage and are smaller
and more refined; definitely
more petite and
elegant and not the huge American sizes (we DO NOT
have 40
pound Whippets!). We have both parent dogs
here as well as the maternal
grandmother and
maternal great-grandmother. We have 4 generations.
Our
eldest Whippet is now 15 years of age going on
16 and still quite spry.
The pups will have had at
least 2 vet visits for check-ups
and
evaluations/wellness exams and will come with
all current vaccinations,
current dewormings, a
current veterinary fecal exam, and a current
general
health certificate before leaving. They
will also have had their first
month's dose of
heartworm preventative given as well as a dose
of
Frontline Plus applied. They will come with a
puppy kit containing their
next month's dose of
heartworm preventative along with coupons
for
Frontline and for Heartgard, a small bag of
food, a blanket, as well as a
crate if we ship.
ALL records come with your puppy, including
the
registration papers. Your pup will come ready
to go with everything
including tip care sheets
and all the medical records. Neutering
and/or
microchipping is also available for an
additional fee....SHIPPING IS NOT
INCLUDED, but is
available if necessary. A DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO
RESERVE

Preference is given to those that
have sighthound
experience...however, we will gladly speak with
anyone
regardings Whippets and suggest if you
haven't had one before, to please
do your research
before contacting. While they are wonderful pets
and
companions and make great family dogs, they
are not a dog for everyone.
They do have their
quirks, as does any breed. Please also take the
