Schipperkes are one of the breeds that are on
OFA's list of
breeds that are at risk for LCP and
all breeding schips should be checked
for this
problem. Again, of course, puppies whose parents
have been
cleared for LCP have a better chance of
not developing the disease
themselves than puppies
