This is Dixie and she is 7-8 years of age. We are
a bit unsure of her age
since she was brought to
us needing a home and some of her records
state
that she is 7 and others state that she is 8
:) She lived with an elderly
lady her whole life
until that lady could no longer take care of her
and
she was put in a shelter. From there a
volunteer couldn't help to see her
there and took
her home. This lady was even older and just
couldn't care
for her so she was brought to me. I
work a full time job and have to
travel often for
work for a week at a time and I feel I just don't
have
the time that Dixie deserves. She is a great
dog! She is potty trained
and very well mannered
dog. She however doesn't like other dogs. When
I
walk her she goes nuts over other dogs, yet when
I board her at doggie day
care she loves the other
dogs... maybe she just needs some work on walks??
She again is a great dog for a family that has
some time for her. I have
to cage her when I am
at work and I feel that is too long. She will
come
with all of her dog beds that I have bought
her. She has 4 or 5. I have
one on a chair in
the living room, one at the foot of my bed, one in
my
passangers seat in the car, and a couple around
the house. She loves them
and will go to them. I
am selling with her, all her beds, her
collar,
harness, leash, bowls, toys, coats, and
her kennel which I purchased new
for $60+. She
also isn't a yippy dog.... she will bark at dogs
on a walk,
but she won't bark when visitors come
over or knock on the door. If you
think that you
could have the time to give Dixie her forever home
then
please contact me. She is the sweetest thing
and is very well behaved...
I just want her to
have people around her in the day time :)
