These are 9/16 Great Pyrenees and 7/16 Anatolian
Shepherd. This mix provides a nice blend of
the docile nature and size of the Pyrenees,
improves the outer coat for warmth and predator
protection, more friendly towards kids etc with
the Pyrenees traits, the Anatolian influence
brings a leaner faster dog, Anatolians are known
as the greyhounds of LGD's, also a tough as nails
dog with a fighting spirit that if it has to
engage a predator will, given even odds,
entirely dominate. Anatolians have almost no prey
drive and take no where near as long to acclimate
to livestock of any sort even chickens and other
Poultry, small large or otherwise. Some people
feel that purebred Anatolians can be too
aggressive and/or aloof, and prefer a cross with
something like the Great Pyrenees. The Anatolian
influence also retards much of the Great Pyrenees
instinct to roam, unless of course you have three
miles square of which he or she can roam. Have
been and will be continually exposed to chickens,
pigs, and goats. Just had first set of shots which
is Duramune 5 + CV.
