Parents. The puppy will be
Microchipped with an "Avid" microchip
before
leaving our care. Why do we microchip our
puppies? We want to make
absolutely sure that our
puppies can be identified and traced back to
us
and their owners, and that we have proof
positive of the puppy's
identification and
ownership. What if the puppy gets loose and is
lost,
or stolen and abandoned, and picked up by a
humane society or rescue or
another caring person?
Without a Microchip there is no way the puppy
can
be positively identified and claimed...
remember collars can be removed or
fall off,
tatoos are often hard or impossible to read and
trace. As
Schipperke rescue people, we see nice
Schipperkes all the time that
seemingly were
"lost" and we are unable to find their owners or
figure
out where they came from ... with a
microchip this would not happen to
these nice dogs
... we want to give ourselves and our puppy buyers
the
best possible chance of finding the puppy if
something should happen and
the puppy is lost and
looking for its way home... we care about
our
