Coat: Usual colors are grey or white with grey or black. However, other colors are permissible. The exterior is long and wire-haired while the under-layer is soft.

Character: This dog is happy, alert, animated, and intelligent. It has a good memory and is obedient. It is a little less confident around strangers.

Temperament: Visitors will be loudly announced. It is excellent with children, dogs and other household pets.

Care: Regular grooming with a brush and comb is required.

Training: The intelligence and easy-going demeanor of this breed make training fairly easy.

Activity: Due to the Polish Lowland Sheepdog's origins as a working dog, it needs to take part in many activities that provide mental stimulation and a change of scenery. It enjoys agility training, catch, and chasing frisbees. This dog needs more than three short walks a day.
