Temperament: Gentle and pleasant as companions. Excellent with children in the family. Reserved with strangers. Generally good with other pets.

Care: Regular brushing/combing. Bathe only when necessary. Average shedder.

Training: Requires early training. Can be stubborn. Requires consistent training with loving approach.

Activity: Need plenty of exercise. Will become restless without it. Not recommended for apartment life. Does best with a large, fenced yard.
